Bamboo Cups

NEIP is encouraging the use of bamboo, which grows in the North East in abundance, to make handicrafts for national and international markets.  The public can help by donating to NEIP.  NEIP currently purchases Bamboo Cups made by the men of villages, in order to help them earn a supplemental income.   While this is not a long term solution, it will help them get started in other various work ventures; act as an alternative to micro-loans; save for emergencies; pay for their child's education; or receive the proper healthcare they require.

NEIP will send you a Bamboo Cup as a gift, for a donation of any amount (suggested donation is for $5 or more).  Please request your gift in the comment section of your donation, and we'll gladly send one your way!
