Weaving and Handicrafts
NEIP has encouraged the women of the village to look back into their own history and remember how they made clothes of out cotton and silk, which they stopped due to the easy availability of synthetic material.
NEIP purchases Handmade Bookmarks hand-woven by the women of the villages, in order to begin helping some of them earn a supplemental income. While this is not a long term solution, it will help those to get started in other various work ventures; act as an alternative to micro-loans; help them to save for emergencies, pay for their child's education, or receive the proper healthcare they require.
NEIP will send you a Handmade Bookmark as a gift , for a donation of any amount (suggested donation is for $5 or more). All you have to do is request one in the comment section of your donation, and we will gladly send one your way!
